William D. Davidson

William D. Davidson

William D. Davidson joined Moses Wittemyer in August 2016. His practice focuses on water rights and special district matters.

Mr. Davidson holds a B.A. from St. John's College (Santa Fe, NM) and a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law. While in law school, he served as an associate editor of the University of Colorado Law Review and clerked for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado, the Western Environmental Law Center, and the Colorado Attorney General's Office. He also served as a student attorney with the Acequia Assistance Project, co-authoring an article on a historical water rights dispute in Colorado's San Luis Valley.

Following law school, Mr. Davidson clerked for the Honorable James F. Hartmann, Water Judge, Water Division One, and Chief Judge, Nineteenth Judicial District, State of Colorado.

Outside of work, Mr. Davidson enjoys reading and exploring Colorado and the West.
