Joshua B. Boissevain

Joshua B. Boissevain joined the firm in March 2020. His practice focuses on water rights litigation and transactions. He holds a B.S. in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Colorado-Boulder (2006) and a J.D. from the University of Denver-Sturm College of Law (2018). Before joining Moses Wittemyer, Mr. Boissevain clerked for the Honorable James F. Hartmann in Colorado's Division 1 water court. In law school, he served on the editorial board of the Water Law Review for three years and has clerked for Denver Water, the Colorado Water Trust, and the Colorado Attorney General's Office in the Natural Resource & Environment Section.

Prior to law school, Mr. Boissevain served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Moldova, where he taught English and journalism at the high school and university levels. His work there also focused on human rights and anti-racism issues related to Moldova's Roma population and press freedom. He also worked for several years as a journalist based in Prague covering post-communist Europe and Central Asia.
